It seems like whatever fate has in store for Clementine at the end of The Walking Dead Season Two, the series will be continuing. A San Diego ComicCon panel including Telltale president Kevin Bruner and graphic novelist Robert Kirkman (author of the original Walking Dead comics) has confirmed a third season.
Here’s the Telltale official twitter account re-confirming that very thing:

How this may or may not tie in to events of the ongoing second season hasn’t been made clear. In fact I don’t think anything has been made clear beyond “yes, we’ll be doing Season Three.” It does raise the distinct possibility that multiple loose ends that are ongoing in Season Two won’t, in fact, be cleared up by Episode 5.
The presence of Kirkman suggests this was a Walking Dead themed panel, so it’s perhaps no surprise that there was no word of anything along the lines of a second season to The Wolf Among Us.
Telltale is also currently working on games based on the Borderlands and Game of Thrones properties.
The IncGamers review of Season Two’s Episode 4, Amid the Ruins, will be coming early next week. I was distracted by the Dark Souls 2 DLC.
