News of the first two of five projects to be announced by Telltale have been revealed as videogame versions of Walking Dead and Bill Willingham’s trade paperback series, Fables.
The story was spotted by the always-alert chaps over at Neogaf, who noticed the following All Things Digital piece.
As was speculated back in January when hints of this announcement were made, one of Telltale’s projects will indeed be based on The Walking Dead – but the Robert Kirkman comic, rather than the TV series. Fables is much more of a surprise, but the fairytale-stars-in-modern-times premise seems as though it should be safe in the hands of the developer who took over stewardship of the Sam & Max series.
Fans of counting will have noticed that this still leaves three of five titles still to be announced. Chances are high that more details will be revealed tomorrow.
