Telltale Games has announced a two-year development deal with Universal, which will result in episodic games based on Back to the Future and Jurassic Park.
Dan Connors, CEO of Telltale Games, is unsurprisingly pleased with the announcement, stating “We are all huge fans of both of these franchises. For Back to the Future and Jurassic Park we will leverage Telltale’s expertise in story-telling and game design to deliver on the unique elements of each series.”
First up will be Back to the Future, scheduled for release “this winter.”
It’s too early at this stage to say whether any of the original cast will lend their voices to a game “based on” the classic film, but we dearly hope this is the case. Christopher Lloyd starred in the rather smashing Toonstruck back in 1996, so he’s not adverse to some videogame work.
We also hope the first puzzle is USE Libyan Nationalist Plutonium ON DeLorean.
