How many of you out there in PC-land are waiting for Resident Evil 6 to show up on your platform of choice? It’s turned out to be a fairly lengthy weight, but the end is now in sight as Capcom have confirmed a release date of 22 March 2013 for the tardy PC port. So, only five months after the console versions popped out into retail, then.
Capcom’s press release says the game will “take full advantage” of Steam – listing cloud saving, leaderboards, friend support and the like – which teases the possibility of Games For Windows Live being ditched by the publisher, but doesn’t confirm it outright (the two have, sadly, coexisted in the past).
The PC version of the game will contain everything the console version had, plus any free title updates released to date. That includes the unlocked Ada Wong campaign and ‘No Hope’ difficulty mode.
