The Kickstarter campaign for System Shock Remastered is supposed to be getting underway today at around 8PM GMT (12PM PST), and ahead of that, a Steam page has materialised.

A demo is expected once the Kickstarter campaign launches, and if you were wondering why they need your money to fund this, it’s apparently now a complete reboot and it has gone beyond the scope of a remaster.
The Steam page features all the usual game info but also comes with system requirements which are as follows:
