Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris – CUBE tickets, CUBE Shop cosmetics, and daily quests

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

With Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycorispatch 1.03 going live, players will have some additional content to do. Obviously, the four new Raid Dungeons figure prominently. However, there’s some stuff that everyone can do on the side. We’re talking about daily quests and obtaining CUBE tickets for the CUBE shop’s cosmetics.

Sword Art Online: Daily quests for CUBE tickets and cosmetics

I’m not sure when the daily reset time is, but Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris does have one. My best guess is around 8 pm ET.

When that happens, you should check your Map -> Network Quests tab. This will show you the daily quest that’s active. To pick it up, press “D” on your keyboard or “Y” on an Xbox gamepad.

The daily quest tasks tend to be easy. Yesterday, you just had to kill random mobs. Today, you only need to land 150 hits with any weapon.

Once done, complete the tally via the Network Quests tab once more. You’ll be given a smattering of materials, some gold, XP, and even food.

The most important reward, arguably, is the CUBE ticket. If you’re someone who wants to have numerous character customization options and various costumes, then the CUBE ticket (or the CUBE Shop rather) lets you do just that. Once you access it via the main menu, you’ll see 100 cosmetic rewards that can be obtained. Keep in mind, however, that what you get is solely based on RNG factors.

Cosmetics include weapon skins, hair colors, and legendary-type costumes. Some can also affect gameplay such as temporary XP boosts or accessories.

Note: The legendary costumes are part of a “seasonal” theme which lasts 70 days. The current one is called “Sword Punk Online” so there are steampunk influences involved.

Anyway, if you have a CUBE ticket, you can use it to try and get something you want in the CUBE shop. Just to be clear, the stuff in the CUBE Shop won’t cost money and the CUBE tickets themselves only come from daily quest completions.

Still, if a player ends up getting a duplicate in the CUBE shop, they can get a “duplicate ticket” that can be spent in the Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris shop (SAO Shop). It’s the SAO Shop that has items that cost cash so just be aware of that. Having a duplicate ticket, though, lets you pick up a certain offering directly depending on how many tickets it’d cost.

Note: The SAO Shop is still unavailable as of the time of this writing and it’s still unclear what types of items it’ll have.
