Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris – Crafting new equipment and farming resources and materials
The way Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris is designed is that a number of materials and resources can only drop from specific locations or specific mobs. As such, you’d need to speed up the leveling process.
Apart from that, gold is also very hard to come by if you’re simply completing quests. In fact, the best way to make money is by going back and forth a particular zone just to pick up the same item (Wildrose) so you can sell it. Additionally, crafting is so agonizingly slow and you’ll get bored out of your wits just trying to increase your rank.
That sounds like a lot of negatives, sure. However, the good news is that many members of Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris‘ community (both on Reddit and Discord) have been very active in compiling massive lists for various item drops, resource locations, and more. In effect, these lists will make the entire process a lot easier since everyone has a general idea of where to look.
Resource and materials compendiums
There are several Google Docs spreadsheets made by Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris players:
- Compilation #1 – This is from Kentun, the mod of the game’s subreddit and also the admin of the community channel on Discord.
- Compilation #2 – This compilation is from Tahara1 who also posted it on Reddit.
- Compilation #3 – This compilation is from Discord user Quasla.
Kentun’s document has a massive list of weapon skills, accessories, and more. Tahara1’s, likewise, enumerates crafting materials, incarnations (attachments/mods), and relic or elite drops. Meanwhile, Quasla’s compilation lists down drops from various enemies including Divine Beasts. You can refer to these lists if ever you’re wondering how or where to find a particular item.
Lastly, you could also check out the video below from YouTuber Murad Zero. It contains all the drop sources/locations for various materials, and the video breaks them down depending on the weapon type that you want to upgrade.
