Swery is looking for a hefty $1.5 million on Fig to get this strange sounding game made. In The Good Life players take on the role of a debt ridden photographer from New York how has ended up in an English village called Rainy Woods. The protagonist Naomi will have to work to clear her debts which involves working part-time jobs and taking photos which she sends back to New York. In the meantime, she will also have to solve a mystery.

What is bizarre is that at night all the villagers turn into cats which means players will get to play as a cat when the sun goes down. The Fig page has some quite amusing pictures of the villagers as cats with descriptive names such as Drunk Cat, Coal Mine Cat and even Gay Cat.

There will be customisation on the characters, cats and even the photographic equipment as she attempts to capture interesting shots to send back to New York.

It all sounds a bit mad but check the crowdfunding page for more details on how this all pieces together. Here’s the trailer featuring cats, sheep and an English village.
