2D sweep-em-up platformer Dustforce is now available on both PC and Mac with a free update that adds a level editor to the game. The editor is billed as “easy to use” and lets you add single and multiplayer levels to the game, which you can even share through this handy-dandy website.
As well as a level editor, this latest update eases the progression in the game (previously you had to get perfect scores to earn keys to unlock new levels). Developers Hitbox Team say this new approach adds a more “accessible difficulty curve” but also keeps the challenge for hardcore gamers “as high as before”.
Until 3 May, Dustforce can be picked up from Steam at half price, making it just $5 USD. That’s quite a bargain, as my review can atest.
Take a look at the trailer below for the level editor in action, plus some exceptional music from the game.
