Marguerit Maida is a survivor on Planet 4546B. She’s a bit haughty and distrustful at first, but that’s understandable given her harrowing experience. Perhaps she knows what truly happened to Robin Ayou’s sister as well. Here’s our guide to help you find Marguerit Maida’s base in Subnautica: Below Zero.

Subnautica: Below Zero guide – Finding Marguerit Maida’s underwater base
Your first encounter with Marguerit Maida is outside Delta Station. It’s directly south of your drop pod, and swimming around the area would likely provide you with a marker for the location. Upon going through the caverns, Marguerit, in a hulking Prawn Suit, will jump down and surprise you.
She definitely doesn’t trust you at all. At the very least, you’ll be able to explore Delta Station at your leisure.
Try to scan blueprints and objects here, especially the Alterra Facilities Map. The information about sites in Sector Zero tends to be barebones, but it’s something. You can access the map via Databank -> Logs & Communications -> Maps.
Likewise, take note of the radar tower at the summit because you’ll be returning here later.
You should also receive a marker that says “pilot’s last known position.” This is further to the east of Delta Station since it’s at the Lilypad Islands biome.
If you check the marker, you’ll notice a winding cave system that leads even deeper, so make sure that you have a Seatruck or a High Capacity O2 Tank with plenty of Bladderfish for oxygen.
Follow the caverns until you reach the underwater base. Check the moon pool at the bottom to enter the hatch.
Inside, you’ll find Marguerit and her pet Snow Stalker. You can scan the objects here, but you can’t go to the next area of the base (the Snow Stalker will block your path). Instead, you should scan the PDA on the desk. It’ll give you the instructions on how to craft the Test Override Module. That’s something we’ll use once we have the Parallel Processing Unit so we can progress Subnautica: Below Zero‘s story.
Note: Look inside and around Marguerit Maida’s underwater base to find blueprints for the Snowfox, Spy Pengling, Stillsuit, and many others.
Subnautica: Below Zero is available via Steam. For more information, check out our guides and features hub.
