While not nearly as funny as Duke Nukem Forever being delayed again, it’s worth mentioning that SouthPeak Interactive has pushed castle-builder Stronghold 3 back to summer.
The original release date was sometime in spring, so this isn’t exactly a major delay. According to the publisher, the extra time will allow FireFly Studios (makers of all the Stronghold titles) to add some unspecified extra features.
Let’s guess what those might be. Perhaps additional murder holes to rain death upon your foes through. Or latrine holes to rain crap upon your foes through. Or … something that isn’t a hole. We’ll just have to wait and see.
Designer Simon Bardbury says the team are sorry for the delay, but they want to make Stronghold 3 “the best Stronghold yet.”
