Strictly Come Dancing gets its own game, world dies

This article is over 12 years old and may contain outdated information

I know, I know, it’s wonderful. Our prayers have been answered. The world is all right again.
Strictly Come Dancing: The Game. It’s happened. You can play it now. It’s free. It’s called Strictly Keep Dancing.
“Strictly’s Dancing with the Stars brand is a global pop culture phenomenon and developing this game has been a major initiative for our business,” said BBC games boss Robert Nashak.
“We’ve tried hard to create a fun and authentic experience that fully engages players in everything that it takes to be a celebrity contestant on the show.”
Richard Halliwell, commerical director of the BBC’s US show Dancing with the Stars, says that the game will help fans “suffering withdrawal symptoms” when the show is off-air. He’s right, I was starting to miss the extreme levels of camp and fat celebs trying to take part in the Latin Medley.
You can customise avatars and all that crap. It’s available for free here.
