Psyonix’s Rocket League has seen some amazing crossovers in the past, including with the Batmobile from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and the DeLorean from Back to the Future. But for its latest promotion, the company is about to get… stranger. Today, the team behind the popular multiplayer favorite announced that it will cross over with Netflix’s Stranger Things series for its upcoming Haunted Hallows event.

First up, it’ll change its current Farmstead level into something resembling The Upside Down. While the layout of the stage will generally remain the same, it’ll have a Stranger Things flourish to it, including a sneaky little Mind Flayer looming in the distance. Maybe keep an eye on your fellow cars, just in case.

As you win online matches in this event, you’ll obtain Candy Corn. No, you won’t have to eat it. But you can turn it around to purchase new Stranger Things-themed goods for your car.

The Stranger Things goodies you can unlock!

  • Camp Know Where Topper
  • Demogorgon Player Banner
  • Demogorgon Player Title
  • Hawaiian Hopper Decal
  • Scoops Ahoy Avatar Border
  • Starcourt Wheels
  • Stranger Things Boost

The event kicks off on Oct. 14 and will run through Nov. 11. After it concludes, players will have until Nov. 14 to pick up their Stranger Things items before they’re gone for good. It’s a strong opportunity to get spooky with this fun Netflix series, while still having the fun you’d expect from Rocket League.

The trailer below gives players a good idea of what to expect from the event. And as expected, Psyonix has put its own special touch on the Haunted Hallows introduction, with titling similar to the Stranger Things introduction sequence from the show.

The event kicks off in just a few days, so make sure you call your friends at Scoops Ahoy and tell them what’s up. Rocket League is available for PC, as well as Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.
