According to the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, Zombie Cow may have a battle on its hands to get Privates onto Xbox LIVE.
The publication quotes a Microsoft spokesman, who says “While we haven’t seen this game, we can confirm that if it is consistent with the description we have seen on the Internet, this game would not pass peer review and would not be permitted to be distributed on Xbox Live.”
Microsoft’s guidelines prohibit the publication of ‘strong sexual content’ – which is problematic news for a game based around condom-hatted marines entering people’s most intimate areas.
That said, part of the game’s satirical premise appears to be to promote good sexual health. Is that really worthy of censorship?
We’ve contacted Zombie Cow developer Dan Marshall who promises IncGamers he is on the case. As soon as we know more, we’ll bring it to you.
