Will they? Won’t they? They probably will have a sale. They did last year so start saving now.
It’s a sort of holiday Halloween, well it’s celebrated in the US at least. Holidays can only mean one thing for PC gamers, a Steam Sale. That’s right, it looks like Valve is cooking up something spooky if a screenshot of a doc, which was discovered on Reddit from a Valve employee, is anything to go by. It looks legit enough to us and makes perfect sense.
The only drawback with this sale is that Valve are trying to limit the releases to games with a “spooky” theme. On the other hand, they have mentioned zombies in the blurb so that should just about cover most games these days.
Last year’s Steam Halloween Sale saw 149 games get the discount treatment, and while we don’t know what this year’s list will look like, just be ready to spend.
All this fun is supposed to get underway on 30 October at 10AM Pacific time (6PM GMT) and will only run until Monday 3 November. That’s plenty if time to clean out the bank account and buy lots of games you’re unlikely to ever play.
