Blizzard has confirmed it is currently preparing the StarCraft II “Behind the Scenes” DVD for a Collector’s Edition, similar to those released for World of WarCraft, and its two expansions. This is the first time the Collector’s Edition has been mentioned.
Blizzard RTS community manager Kevin Yu told fans that the publisher is “looking to gather some good questions aimed specifically at the developers of StarCraft II about their experience in developing the game,” but he specifically asked them to “avoid specific gameplay type questions” like those normally submitted to the Q&A batches which appear on the Battle.net forums.
Much like previous “Behind the Scenes” DVDs, the StarCraft II Collector’s edition will aim to give an insight into the development from all parts of the development team, including production, design, art, programming, quality assurance etc.
Further details are posted on our StarCraft network site StarcraftWire.net.
