Star Wars: The Old Republic combat audio blog

This article is over 13 years old and may contain outdated information

The end of week Star Wars: The Old Republic devleoper update looks at the game’s audio.
This week’s developer blog update comes from audio Designer Scott Morton who discusses the process of creating the perfect mix of music and sound effects in the upcoming MMO. It’s interesting to note there seems to be a certain amount artistic license when it comes to the game’s audio as it’s set in a different timeframe from the films. Needless to say the whole process sounds complex when trying to get all the audio just right.
To accompany the update there is also another Q&A from the community covering numerous topics on the game’s art style.
Check out this week’s update.
