Another end of week update from Bioware brings more Star Wars: The Old Republic goodness our way.
This week Bioware take fans behind the scenes of Star Wars: The Old Republic’s cinematic animation where animator Andrew Lauretta explains how it’s all put together. Before they get a bunch of folk to leap about at a motion capture studio, the actors are picked depending on the scene and then once complete it’s all passed over to the cinematic designers.
The article is an interesting read and it’s also peppered with a few shots and some video footage of motion capture guys waving lightsabers at large CG cowardly Jabba figures. Let’s face it, a Hutt would be pretty crap in a lightsabre fight, those little stumpy arms could never wave around such a dangerous weapon without some self-harm occurring.
Also in today’s update is the latest community Q&A which covers the game’s Flashpoints.
