Since the moment you crash land on Toshara in Star Wars Outlaws, you start the Underworld quest. This guide will walk you through the entire quest, and more importantly the difficult parts including how to get into Gorak’s suite.

How to defeat the bandits and reach Mirogana
The first thing you need to do in the Underworld mission, after ensuring you have the best PC graphics settings, is defeat the bandits surrounding your crashed ship. After dispatching them, talk to the Mechanic, named Waka, and then hop on your speeder to head to Mirogana. More bandits on speeders will chase you, so use your Focus to blast them.
How to Reach Makal’s cantina
Once you reach the city called Mirogana, you need to head further in to reach Makal’s cantina. Head southeast to the landing area then up the stairs. Pass the Stormtrooper checkpoint and, if you’re down to play a very fun card game, learn how to play a round of Kessel Sabbac. The level design continues to funnel you toward Makal’s cantina, so keep going forward.
Should you Buy Invite or Walk Away from the Broker?
While you can walk right past the Broker, you’re likely to talk to him. He’ll give you an invite to meet Gorak if you pay him 50 Credits. Otherwise, you can refuse and walk away. I recommend not buying the invite (you’ll see why); if it turns out that you need it to progress the dialogue and therefore the quest with the invite, then go back and buy it.
If you select Buy Invite, you’ll have your first real taste of the Outer Rim as it’s not a real VIP Pass. The bartender tells you that the invite is fake and the Broker ripped you off. I tried to find him but he runs off after you try to use the VIP Pass.
How to find a way into Gorak’s suite
If you try to use the elevator up to Gorak’s suite, the bartender will stop you. Now, you need to go through the passage to the right of the elevator. Down this hallway, you run into a Technician.
Should you Bribe the Technician or Find Another Way?
Star Wars Outlaws gives you the choice to either Bribe the Technician or Find Another Way. Sadly, as far as I can tell, there is no other way. You have to pick Bribe and spend 150 Credits. There’s no way around it.
How to get past the bouncer in Makal’s Gambling Parlor
It seems like another way forward is through the bouncer past the Technician, but as far as I can tell, there’s no way to get past the bouncer right now. You will unlock this area later as you make forward progress through the main story quest — come back later. (Spoiler: I hope you’ve been practicing your Sabbac).
How to slice the computer to call the Turbolift
After bribing the Technician, you need to slice the computer. This minigame is essentially Wordle. Choose three shapes. If they are yellow, they are the correct shape but in the wrong spot. If it’s blue, it’s the correct shape in the right spot. Keep experimenting until you get it right. If you fail, you can simply try again with no consequences.
With the computer sliced, you can enter the Turbolift elevator and go to Gorak’s suite. Now, you’ll meet Gorak and Danka through cutscenes. You’ll be introduced to the three main Syndicates on Toshara.
How to infiltrate Gorak’s base
Since your reputation with the Pykes is Poor, you need to use stealth in their Syndicate area. If you are spotted, you’ll be caught and have to restart (which happened to me many times). Enter through the vent on the right.
Once in the area, wait for the two guards to pass and go right. Use the grapple to repel down. Get some extra loot in the tunnel further down, but come back up after as that isn’t a way forward.
Now, watch and wait for the two guards past the wide orange pillar. When the coast is clear, use the vent on the wall to proceed. continue forward using the cover. Wait for the guards to pass and then go through the alley going east.
Use Nix to take out the guard and distract the security camera. Continue forward and use Nix again to take out another guard. Now, look to your right to find a way up. Climb up, data spike the door, and continue forward.
Once you’re in the room with no guards, go down the ladder and call the Turbolift. Go back up the ladder and use the Turbolift to get across. Once on top, look past the metal blocking your way and use Nix to call the second Turbolift.
Once you’re in the wind tunnel, go left and use Nix to open the shutter. Shoot the energy node to stop the fan which allows you to continue forward.
How to disable the energy barrier
Now that you’re deep in Pyke territory, you can either continue sneaking or go load and use your weapons. Either way, I recommend pulling out your Electrobinoculars and marking each enemy to make traversing through this area easier.
However you go about it, the goal here is to disable the two energy nodes. One is located on the ground floor on the right. The other is one floor up on the left. You can use Nix to do this quietly or shoot it with your blaster. I recommend going right to left as there’s a walkway directly past the left energy node that leads you past the barrier and into the next area, after a quick data spike.
How to break into the tower and access Gorak’s terminal
There are no guards ahead, so you can continue forward safely — make sure to grab all the loot. Eventually, you reach a computer that you need to slice. You then learn about a traitorous Pyke and the alarm brings in guards. Time to go hot.
How to escape the base and return to Danka
Eliminate the guards, jump onto the climbable material to go up the elevator shaft, and go through the vent. Eliminate more guards in the next room, loot everything, and enter the vent on the left.
Once outside, keep traversing forward. Remember to look up for grapple points (as I forget to do that and can get stuck sometimes). After leaving the base, return to Makal’s Gambling Parlor and talk to Danka to end the mission.
Should you Tell Eleera About the Pyke Traitor or Save the Information for Gorak?
The last part of the Underworld mission has you choosing the Pykes or Crimson Dawn. Know that this decision will give you good reputation with one Syndicate and there’s no wrong choice. Reputation in Star Wars Outlaws comes and goes as you decide who you want to side with throughout the game.
I chose to tell Eleera because I wanted to side with the Crimson Dawn. After doing that, I was free to travel the Crimson Dawn Syndicate areas without the guards kicking me out or shooting me. The Pyke areas were still restricted to sneaking. The same would be true but reversed if I chose to save the information for Gorak. Choose wisely.
