Star Wars Outlaws Gushiro Nest location and rewards

Come out, come out, wherever you are!

One of the most challenging Intels to complete in Star Wars Outlaws is the Gushiro Nest because, in my opinion, the clue is very misleading. With this guide, you will find and complete the Gushiro Nest Intel in Star Wars Outlaws.

Where to find the Gushiro Nest Intel in Star Wars Outlaws

Truth be told, at first I didn’t think the Gushiro Nest was in Star Wars Outlaws. Myself and my two co-workers had been looking for the Gushiro Nest on Toshara for ages and had found nothing. I’ll walk you through all the places I’ve been, but first, here is the location of the Gushiro Nest in Star Wars Outlaws.

While the hint led me to believe the Gushiro Nest was on the opposite side of Toshara, it actually is located in Southern Falls south of the Imperial Forward Base. I’ve been here before and have looted the treasure, but it never checked off my Gushiro Nest Intel until I visited the location again.

I’ve seen reports that this has happened to other players too and can happen with other Intels (it happened again to me with the Smuggler Hideout Intel). If you’ve already found the loot in an area but got the Intel after, you need to circle back to where that region is to fully complete the Intel.

My search for the Gushiro Nest

The hint for the Gushiro Nest Intel is, “The nest is inside a rocky alcove west of the river fork near the amberine arch.” There are three forks in the river on Toshara (and one hides the Crashed Speeder), but only one fork in the river has a massive amberine arch (see the images above). This is in the middle of The Mirage and was my best guess as to where the Gushiro Nest was supposed to be.

  • Star Wars Outlaws Gushiro Nest River Rocks
  • Star Wars Outlaws Gushiro Nest Ridge
  • Star Wars Outlaws Gushiro Nest Climbing Cliff
  • Star Wars Outlaws Gushiro Nestinaccessible Landing

In the slideshow above, you’ll see all the locations I’ve searched to try to find the Gushiro Nest. I’ve looked inside the cave east of the amberine arch. There is a treasure there, but apparently, it’s not the Gushiro Nest Intel treasure. I’ve looked all around the rocks along the river to scout out a Gushiro Nest. No luck.

I looked around the top on the ridge to see if the Gushiro Nest was up there. I found a random climbing section on the cliffside that I thought would surely bring me to the Gushiro Nest. Instead, it takes you from the top of the amberine arch to the river below by the pirate camp. Not sure why that climbing section exists, but there you go.

I even looked on the inaccessible plateau, the one you can only get to by falling with your Speeder to it. And I was met with nothing. Beyond those key places, I’ve looked north, south, east, and yes, even west as the hint says.

Tracking down the Gushiro Nest was awful, and the Yellow Scarf for Nix as a reward wasn’t much better. At least now I can move on to better things like finding all the Pyke Syndicate Workshop treasures.
