The Abandoned Mine in Star Wars Outlaws is just another one of those tucked-away locations that must be found and looted. However, before getting into the goodies, you must have progressed a certain amount through the main storyline.
Where to find the Abandoned Mine in Star Wars Outlaws
The location of the Abandoned Mine in Star Wars Outlaws is in the northwest of the Tatooine map. In the North Jundland Wastes, there is the Pillared Forest. To the west of these is the entrance to the Abandoned Mine.
However, before you enter, make sure that you have unlocked the Fusion Cutter. This is unlocked by progressing through the main storyline of the Star Wars Outlaws. It is given during the Legacy quest, nearing the end of the game.
Cutting through the steel grate will open the Abandoned Mine in Star Wars Outlaws. Head on in and drop down the shaft. The cave system is actually very straightforward and requires only one lockpick puzzle at the end.
If you’re not a fan of the lockpick challenges, it is possible to turn them off. Simply head into the gameplay settings at the pause menu and navigate to minigames. From here, you can turn off both the lockpick and slicing minigames in Star Wars Outlaws. I know I found them endlessly tedious, just adding more time to the game rather than any actual substance.
Abandoned Mine loot
At the end of the tunnel, and after the door, unlock the chest to receive the Unity Paint Job for your Speeder. While you’re in the vicinity, there is also a frequency rock just at the entrance of the Abandoned Mine in Star Wars Outlaws. It is worth progressing with the Jet Kordo‘s Legacy quest to get two of the objectives done at once.
This rock is the one needed to find the Buried Vault in the quest. This will result in even more loot and the progression of another quest. Head back out of the mine and use the Holotracker to activate this new part of the quest.
