Powered by the Frostbite engine, EA and DICE announced that they will develop and eventually release Battlefront VR in 2016 for the PlayStation VR system.

“Our unparalleled Frostbite engine will power more of our games this year, including an all-new Star Wars Battlefront experience for PlayStation VR,” stated by Andrew P. Wilson, Chief Executive Officer and Director at Electronic Arts.

There are no further details available for the time being, but we are pretty sure that we will see more about Star Wars: Battlefront VR in the coming weeks, maybe during Sony’s E3 Press Conference in Los Angeles this June.
