The Star Citizen cash keeps rolling in after a successful CitizenCon.

Over the weekend Cloud Imperium held their lengthy CitizenCon live stream which has helped raise further awareness of the game and a bucket-load of cash. Star Citizen has now reached the $58 million mark in funding which is quite outstanding.

With more cash in the bank, the community voted ships are currently the focus of the new goals. As the $58 million has just been reached this morning, we’re not quite sure which ship made the grade and will eventually be added to the game. Looking at the current voting on the poll it’s looking like a repair ship will be up next. An official confirmation will no doubt be posted today once the team wake up and count the cash.

As Peter pointed out over the weekend, all the Arena Commander ships have now been unlocked this week so backers should take this opportunity to take them for a spin.

If you missed the special anniversary presentation to celebrate how far the game has come since the original Kickstarter campaign launched, and to find out what’s coming up in the future, watch the stream below. It’s looking outstanding so far.
