As if developing a new, PC-bound version of Space Hulk were not already enough excitement for one studio to bear, Danish team Full Control has also managed to get a licensing agreement in place for a new Jagged Alliance title as well.

Jagged Alliance fits perfectly into our company strategy and portfolio as the game to do after we ship Space Hulk. It is one of the 3 games besides X-Com and Fallout that really defined the entire genre and is part of our DNA,” says Thomas Hentschel of Full Control as he tactically plans his studio’s next move.

From that, I think we can infer that this new title in the series will be returning to its turn-based beginnings. It’s also described as “multiplatform,” but given the nature of the series and the studio I can’t imagine that not including a PC release.

Space Hulk is due later this year. There’s no date in place for Jagged Alliance as yet (other than “after Space Hulk.“)
