Space Hulk: Deathwing gets first screenshots

Space Hulk Deathwing - 01

It’s been awhile since we heard about Streum On Studio’s Warhammer 40,000-themed FPS, but Space Hulk: Deathwing has finally got its first proper screenshots.

They’re rather pretty, too. There are a few close-up shots of Deathwing Company Terminators, some piccies of a Deathwing Librarian – the game’s protagonist – and a couple of screens showing off the lethal Genestealers that you’ll be facing. Genestealers aren’t the only enemies, naturally; as you venture deeper into the depths of the Space Hulk you’ll come across Genestealer Hybrids with heavy weapons, Bloodlords, a huge number of Genestealer sub-species, and plenty more.

Alas, there’s no release date for Space Hulk: Deathwing, nor do we even know for sure if it’s coming out on PC. I suspect it will be – Streum On and Cyanide are both fairly PC-focused, it’s being made on Unreal Engine 4, and these screens look rather PC to me – but there’s no confirmation yet.
