It’s quite rare to hear of a PC release being added to a game rather than taken away, so let’s treat this Sonic Generations news with the awe it deserves.
Of course I’m not entirely sure how many Sonic-loving, PC exclusive players there are out there, but there must be enough for Sega to have decided this is worth a shot.
Like the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions, the PC release of Generations will be released in early November. It’s priced at $30 USD, and already available to order from places like Green Man Gaming.
The same site lists the game’s PC specs as follows:
Minimum Requirements
Microsoft Windows 7/Vista/XP Intel Pentium Dual-Core T4200 (2×2.0GHz) or AMD equivalent 2GB RAM (Windows 7/XP)/3GB RAM (Windows Vista) NVIDIA GeForce 8800 / ATI Radeon HD 2900 11 GB free hard drive space
Recommended Requirements
Microsoft Windows 7 Intel Core i5 @ 2.66 GHz / AMD Phenom II X4 @ 3.0 GHz 3GB RAM NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 / ATI Radeon HD 5850 11 GB free hard drive space
