Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 is now gold, March release locked down

Since the game has been delayed a couple of times already, it seems worthwhile posting the news that Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 has ‘gone gold.’ That means the game discs are off for manufacture and the latest release date should be the final one (no guarantees of course, but it’s now much more likely to remain on track.)

So, all being well, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 will be released on 12 March in the US and 15 March in Europe.

“Ghost Warrior 2 will deliver an even greater experience for all those fans of the first game, expanding on this dramatic, exciting world of elite military service,” says Marek Tyminski. He might be a bit biased though, because he works for developers CI Games.

The game will utilise Crytek’s CryEngine 3 tech and promises a “rebuilt AI system” alongside “more diverse challenges.”
