The Razor is the chapter of Slay the Princess where you finally overcome the Princess after countless failures.
Questioning if the Princess can fight back leads you to The Razor, a single-minded Princess who only wants to amuse herself with violence. How can you possibly win against an enemy with endless hidden blades?
Slay the Princess The Razor full guide: Chapter one
To do the Razor path, you have to either question if the Princess is armed and attack her or doubt your victory. You’re taking the knife either way. In one version, tighten your grip and question if she’s armed. Attacking her at any point before you try to free her will then result in The Razor.
Alternatively, don’t talk to her at all and slay her the moment the option comes up. When options come up to question if she’s dead, check for a pulse or say it was too easy. She’ll revive and stab you.

Chapter two: The Razor walkthrough
The cabin is now jagged and made of sharp edges. The only decision that makes a difference in this chapter is if you take the knife or not.
Besides that, you can talk to the Razor, but she’ll get bored if you interrogate her too much and then kill you. Freeing her will also result in your demise. Running away will result in her killing you.
During the next chapter, you have several options to deal with her. I recommend saving and reloading if you want to see them all. You’ll only get to see the first one you pick play out in full.
From then on, the route plays out the same regardless of any choice until the very end. If you took the knife, she’ll remain in her full razor form and you’ll finally beat her before The Shifting Mound takes her. If you don’t, she’ll instead bend in on herself and explode, leaving only her heart for The Shifting Mound to take. These count as two versions of The Razor for the Shifting Mound to take, so you’ll have to do this route twice to get each Razor variant.
And that’s the end of the Slay the Princess: Razor walkthrough. You and every Voice in your head came together to triumph, only they didn’t actually help at all. At least they tried, though?
