The Damsel is the highly tempting route of Slay The Princess in which you free her with no inkling of ill will at all. And here we’re going to cover the entirety of the Slay the Princess Damsel walkthrough.
Can you really save her without the Narrator’s intervention again? Or is the love doomed from the start? Is it even real at all?
Slay the Princess Damsel full guide: Chapter one
Getting the Damsel is extremely straightforward, as there’s only one way to get this route. Don’t take the knife going in, tell her you’re getting her out, cut her out, and then warn her and resist the Narrator. Deviating from this path at any point leads to another outcome.
She will kill you reluctantly after you successfully attempt to rescue her, and then you’re at the Damsel chapter.

Chapter two: The Damsel walkthrough
The cabin interior turns into a romantic castle. There are three outcomes here:
- Rescue the Princess: The two of you leave the cabin together, and then The Shifting Mound takes her.
- Rescue the Princess, but question her repeatedly: If you ask her what she wants to do, and then keep questioning her, she’ll keep repeating the same thing and turn into a progressively simpler and simpler art style. The Shifting Mound then takes her.
- Betray the Princess and slay her: You can choose to kill her at one of three points. If you bring the knife, either immediately or after talking to her post-rescue. If you didn’t, you can also kill her on the way out. The Smitten forces you to stab yourself in retaliation.
The sketch version of the Princess counts as a different vessel from the default Damsel. You’ll have to do this route twice to get both.
Chapter Three: The Grey
Nothing you do in this route will change the outcome, but you do at least have different dialogue options to explore. You’ll have to go down to the cabin, watch her set it ablaze, and then burn with her together. The Shifting Mound will then claim her as a vessel as you burn to death.
So in total, The Damsel route has three possible Princesses. Did you save the Princess unconditionally, or did you suspect there was more to it than blind devotion?
