Sins Of A Solar Empire: Rebellion Announced

Ironclad Games and Stardock have released news that Sins of a Solar Empire will be receiving a standalone expansion named Rebellion.
This expandalone (think that word will catch on? no, me neither) title will introduce two new factions to the game – loyalists and rebels. Choosing either of these will unlock a brand new tech tree, resulting in new ship variants.
So there’ll be new ships too? Oh yes; new Titan, Capital and Corvette-class ships will make an appearance, alongside new versions of ships found in the original Sins.
New victory conditions are promised for more customisable games, as well as minor graphical updates to do with particle effects and the like.
There’s no release date for this as yet, but it’ll be a PC-only title like the original Sins.
