Ok, yes, a free-to-play, browser-based game about Submarine management and combat might be the definition of niché appeal, but Silent Hunter is at least a series with a bit of clout to it. At least … it used to be. Who knows what the spooky realms of free-to-play and micro-transactions have done to it.
