Signalis 5-Lock Door guide – The Gold Key and Air Key

Let’s discuss how to get the Gold Key and Air Key for the 5-Lock Door in Signalis.

B4 map and items

Here’s a handy map showing the important items on this floor:

First, grab the Blank Key in the Flooded Store Room. Then, save your game in the Flooded Office. Take the Examination Room Key as well. If you need inventory space, you can put the Water Key, Blank Key, and Examination Room Key inside the storage box.

One more item you need to grab is the Video Cassette in the Sleeping Ward. The Vent Room with the Air Key is at the end of the corridor.

However, going there will cause three or four monsters to spawn. You won’t be able to do anything with the fan in that room, so you might as well handle that later. For now, climb up the ladder back to B3.

B3 map and items (again)

Here’s a map of B3 (again), with only the important items mentioned:

Gold Key

Make your way to ICU 01 that’s connected to the South Corridor. There’s a VCR Player here where you can put the Video Cassette.

The scene will suddenly shift into first-person view, and Elster will see someone sitting at the opposite side. Go there and that person will disappear. In their place, you’ll find the Gold Key.

Air Key

If you placed the Examination Room Key and Wrench Handle in a storage box, go ahead and get them once more. Use the key to unlock the Exam Room. Inside, you’ll find the 10mm Socket. Now, open your inventory and combine the socket and handle to create the Socket Wrench.

Remember the Sleeping Ward that had the Video Cassette? Make your way back there and run past the spawning mobs. Enter the Vent Room and use the wrench to pry the grate open. This lets you grab the Air Key.

All right, don’t forget that you still need to acquire the Fire Key, as well as the correct pattern for the Blank Key.
