The Siege of Paris and Bishop Gozlin
Bishop Gozlin is the right-hand man of Count Odo of Paris. You won’t actually get to tackle this Black Box Infiltration mission until much later in the campaign.
Anyway, once you’ve reached “The Siege of Paris” main quest, you’ll battle Gozlin’s brother, Ebels, at the gates of the city.
Then, you’ll follow Sigfred and co. as they fight their way through the streets. Toka will also ask you to light the braziers on the towers to direct the catapults.
After completing all of these tasks, you’ll reach a point where Sigfred and the Vikings advance deeper into the city. You’ll then receive your next task which is to eliminate Bishop Gozlin.
He’s actually found inside the chapel on the right side of the image that you see below. However, because this is a Black Box Infiltration mission, you have the option to head to the chapel on the left.
If you check the back of this church, you’ll find a stained glass window that you can break. Next, climb the ladder to meet up with a mime.
Thanks to Eivor’s arrival, he’ll give you the key to the other church. Make your way there by using the statues.
Once you open the door, you’ll be told of an assassination event/cinematic assassination. If you go to the back of the corridor, you can shoot an arrow at the explosive jars. This will cause the large cross to fall down and crush Bishop Gozlin. This is followed by a short cutscene where Sigfred succumbs to his berserker rage and bloodlust, and Eivor can do nothing about it.
In the next part of our guide, we’ll continue onwards by confronting Count Odo.
