Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Siege of Paris — Black Box Infiltration missions guide

Taking out your targets.

Sister of Sorrow and the Little Mother

“Sister of Sorrow” is a main quest that you can do during the second chapter of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: The Siege of Paris‘ campaign. Your Black Box Infiltration mission target here is the Little Mother, Euphrasia.

To clarify, the initial quest is called “The Missing Queen.” That’s because Eivor will learn of Queen Richardis’ abduction, so it’s time to head to Evreux to search for clues.

In the chapel, Euphrasia will introduce herself. You’ll now have the “Sister of Sorrow” quest.

Next, go to the tavern and listen to the revelers and the soldiers outside. You’ll find out that the Little Mother has a house directly south of Evreux. Go there and look for more clues.

Once you find the letter, you’ll realize that the Little Mother has kidnapped Queen Richardis. She’s holding her hostage in the village of Aquila.

Aquila is further south of Evreux. If you approach it from the north, you’ll see a garden with several soldiers. Check near the dais to find the Aquila Crypt Key.

Note: If you take a look at the gaps between the houses in Aquila, you’ll see a well covered by wooden planks. You can shoot the planks and drop down. There’s a chest here containing the Durendal sword. You can refer to our Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: The Siege of Paris new weapons and armors guide to learn more about other items.

Go to the crypt and talk to the assistant. Pick up the ceremonial knife on the table and dip it in blood. Meanwhile, the desk on the other side of the room has a key.

These items will allow you to enter the ritual area, pretending to be the Little Mother’s assistant.

I suggest pinging the map (“V”) so you can spot a soldier who has a key. Sneak and steal it from him without getting noticed. Then, make your way back up and open the small prison cell. Due to the prisoner’s escape, the guards will climb the stairs to chase him.

Note 1: If you simply approach the Little Mother, the guards will not be tricked by your disguise and you’d have to do a normal boss fight.

Note 2: While the guards are making their way upstairs, climb on the pillar and go to the opposite side so they don’t see you.

If all goes well, you should be able to approach the Little Mother. Once prompted, so you can go for a cinematic assassination where Eivor stabs the ceremonial dagger in Euphrasia’s eye. Ouch!

Richardis will thank you for your help. Now, it’s time to scare away a few rats so you can escort her to the town of Lisieux. This completes the “Sister of Sorrow” main quest.

All right, let’s go to the next part of our Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: The Siege of Paris Black Box Infiltration missions guide to talk about your next target, Bishop Gozlin.
