If you’re creating a new character in the Eternal Realm or Seasonal Realm of Diablo 4, if you have met the requirements, you can choose to skip the campaign. But the question is: should you? Sure, you can experience the main story of Diablo 4 again, or you can skip it and get right to the seasonal or endgame content. So, should you skip the campaign in Diablo 4?
Note: If you want to learn all about the class buffs, nerfs, and changes in Diablo 4 Season 1, I recommend starting with the Sorcerer changes.
Benefits of skipping the campaign in Diablo 4 Season 1
I highly recommend skipping the campaign in Diablo 4 Season of the Malignant. Whenever a new season starts in Diablo 4, you need to create a new character which means you start at level one.
That said, if you skip the campaign, then you get to launch right into the new seasonal quests and activities. If you don’t skip the campaign, you need to fully beat the campaign before you can experience any of the new seasonal content.
However, if you skip the campaign, you’re missing out on a lot of easy XP. Completing campaign quests grant a lot of XP, so I would say the only reason you shouldn’t skip the campaign is if you are comfortable blasting through story missions really quickly. If you can rush through Acts One through Six in one or two days, then I would recommend playing the campaign again just for the quick XP farm.
How to skip the campaign in Diablo 4 Season 1
The only way you can skip the campaign in Diablo 4 is if you’ve completed the entire campaign with one character. The moment you finish Act 6, then you can create a new character and select the box to skip the campaign after you pick your class and customize your character.
Skipping the Diablo 4 campaign is smart when creating Seasonal Realm characters because you want to jump right into the new stuff. Speaking of jumping right in, check out all the Diablo 4 Season 1 battle pass rewards.
