At the end of the Underworld mission in Star Wars Outlaws, you’re given a choice to either side with the Pykes or Crimson Dawn. Since you’re new to the game, this decision feels big, but it’s actually not that deep.
Should you Tell Eleera About the Pyke Traitor or Save the Information for Gorak in Star Wars Outlaws?
The decision to tell Eleera or tell Gorak in Star Wars Outlaws boils down to who you want to initially side with. Do you want to build Reputation with the Pykes or Crimson Dawn? The choice is entirely up to you.
Besides getting different dialogue, the choice doesn’t change anything narratively. Regardless of your decision, you’ll still get the same quests. In fact, all short-term decisions in Star Wars Outlaws have short-term consequences and/or rewards and all long-term decisions have to do with your Reputation with Factions.
The good news about Reputation in Star Wars Outlaws is that it’s going to constantly fluctuate. You are not signing your life away to the Crimson Dawn of the Pykes with this decision. This decision puts your Reputation from Poor to Good with one Faction, but there are multiple ways to raise and lower your Reputation in this game and you’ll be changing allegiances all the time.
I chose to tell Eleera which is choosing Crimson Dawn. With my Reputation now Good with Crimson Dawn, I can stroll into their Faction areas with ease. My co-worker sided with the Pykes and got the same outcome except with Pyke Faction areas. You may get different cutscenes with Eleera and/or Gorak, but besides that, the story continues in the exact same way.
I recommend you choose whichever Faction you want to align with first. Pykes have a lot of control on Toshara, but Crimson Dawn is so cool. It makes sense to go with the Pykes if you want an easier time on Toshara and beyond, but Crimson Dawn, while less apparent throughout the galaxy, is objectively cooler. Just remember that this isn’t binding; you’ll gain and lose Reputation with Factions all the time throughout Star Wars Outlaws. That’s the point. Be a double-crossing space scoundrel!
