Star Wars Outlaws Gambler Mirogana

Should you give the gambler 100 or 500 credits in Star Wars Outlaws?

Will you get your money back?

Even if an NPC doesn’t have a quest in Star Wars Outlaws, that doesn’t mean they aren’t important. Sometimes characters will ask you small questions or minor favors that will have consequences later down the line. One of the first instances of this is a gambler in Mirogana who asks you for some Credits to turn his luck around. Should you give him any?

Should you give Credits to the gambler in Star Wars Outlaws?

The gambler in question is located near the betting tables in Mirogana, the major city on Toshara. You can either give him 100 or 500 Credits depending on how generous you are, or you can turn away and leave without giving him anything.

This choice doesn’t affect any big quests or change your reputation with any of Toshara’s Syndicates, but it still does have consequences down the line. The best answer is to give the gambler 500 Credits. If you don’t have that many, then just give him 100.

Either way, you gain Credits. With the 500 Credits option, you get 750 in return which means you make 250. If you select 100, you get 150 Credits, so only a profit of 50. This makes the 500 option a better choice.

When does the gambler return in Star Wars Outlaws?

The gambler doesn’t show up again for some time. In my experience, I needed to spend time doing other activities, like finding all the Mirogana Valley treasures. After my third of fourth visit to Mirogana, the gambler appeared in the same spot, so give it time.

When you return to the area later on and speak to the gambler again, he’ll give you back your money and then some. He got pretty lucky with your money, so you make a profit. Giving him 500 Credits will return 750 Credits, for example, and giving him 100 will turn a smaller profit. If you don’t give him any Credits to begin with, then he obviously can’t make any money for you.

This isn’t the only instance of a small unmarked choice like this in Star Wars Outlaws, so be sure to talk to any NPCs who seem like they need assistance when exploring the galaxy. Sometimes dialogue options will be locked behind Syndicate Reputation and other factors, however, so you’ll have more options at your disposal if you take the time to do side content and complete jobs for Syndicates like Crimson Dawn or the Pykes.
