Utomik is a service where you pay a monthly subscription and then get unlimited access to the games in their library. Today SEGA has announced they are bringing their titles to the service.
Utomik is currently still in beta but it’s snagging more publishers. The service already includes titles such as Darksiders, Overlord, Titan Quest, The Raven, Evoland II and this latest deal will be a boost their catalogue.
SEGA will launch Alpha Protocol, The Cave as well as EMPIRE: Total War, Total War: SHOGUN II – Fall of the Samurai and Sonic the Hedgehog 4, Episodes I & II. These are not exactly new but it’s a start.
To access Utomik there’s a monthly fee, which has currently been discounted to $4.49. There’s also a two week trial to test the service out as it’s still currently in open beta. Their system allows you to download the initial part of the game and start playing while the remainder download in the background. It’s not a streaming service.
Utomik’s CEO, Doki Tops, adds, “Utomik is excited to welcome SEGA as its partner. We can’t wait to offer our fast growing number of subscribers the chance to play iconic game titles like Total War “Empire” and Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episodes I & II. We are thrilled that SEGA has also decided to join our journey to “Unleash Gaming” designed to bring more games to more people. We are looking forward to a long term partnership with the SEGA team.
You can find out more about Utomik on the official website.
