SouthPeak Interactive has hinted that downloadable content for Section 8 may be released before Christmas. In the company’s Q1 earnings call yesterday, SouthPeak president and CEO Melanie Mroz suggested that DLC for the futuristic shooter will be released before Christmas.“Because of the unique online multiplayer gameplay [in Section 8],” Mroz explained, “we anticipate that with additional downloadable content that will be available shortly… we can extend the life of the product well through the holiday season”What do Section 8 fans want to see in the DLC? Check out our review.Mroz also revealed that she is happy with the company’s financial performance.“I’m very pleased with the results for the first quarter and excited by our opportunities for the remainder of the fiscal year,” she revealed.Other news to come out of the earnings call included the announcement that SouthPeak has picked up the license for TNA Impact wrestling games.
