This Seasonic PSU helps with cable management

For all the messy builders out there.
This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

Like many out there, I have struggled with cable management when putting together computers. Even with the modular Power Supply Units (PSU) becoming easier and easier to manage, it can still be a headache. Luckily, Seasonic is trying to help with a new PSU for everyone. The new Seasonic SSR-750FA CONNECT comes with its own cable management hub to keep things organized behind the scenes.

Instead of having the modular connections on the actual PSU unit itself, the Seasonic CONNECT features a hub that connects to the unit via an attached cable. The hub is then placed behind the motherboard in your PC case and is held in place via magnets. At 330 mm (L) x 64 mm (W) x 21 mm (H), the hub isn’t one to fit in a smaller form factor case like a mini-ITX or MicroATX case. Rather, you’ll be better off with an ATX (mid) or EATX (full) tower to make sure you have the room for it.

What does it pack?

At launch, the Seasonic CONNECT will come in just a 750W offering that carries an 80-Plus Gold certification as well as a 10-year warranty. Along with the supply and hub, the kit comes with a main 24-pin connector, four 8-pin/6-pin PCIe connectors, two 8-pin/4-pin EPS12 connectors, eight SATA connectors, three Molex connectors, two SATA-to-Molex adapters, and zip and velcro ties for even more management options.
