Sam & Max Goodies On Team Fortress 2

This article is over 14 years old and may contain outdated information

For the next week, those who buy The Penal Zone will get some free Team Fortress 2 goodies. According to the Team Fortress 2 blog, those who purchase the first episode of The Devil’s Playhouse, the new Sam & Max season, will get three bits of kit to play around with in Team Fortress 2.The first is Max’s Severed Head, which acts as a hat that can be worn. The other two items are Max’s Pistol and Sam’s Revolver, which are, from what we can tell, reskins of weapons already in the gameThese items will be given away to those who buy the Penal Zone within the next week. Initially it was thought that these items would only go to those who purchased the game through Steam, but a recent post by Telltale’s Jake Rodkins (spotted by Shacknews) confirms that those purchasing through the Telltale site will also get access.”It’s looking like we’re good to go on getting interested Telltale customers the TF2 unlocks for sure. It won’t be instant because our site really isn’t set up yet to distribute them, but yeah,” wrote Rodkins, affirming “Feel free to buy from the TTG site and rest assured you’ll get a Max head to wear on top of your regular head in TF2.”You know what, though? You should probably buy The Penal Zone regardless of whether you’re a Team Fortress 2 fan or not, because it’s really quite special.
