Salt and Sacrifice: Final boss, endings, and New Game+ guide

Finishing the fight, and then some...

Choosing an ending in Salt and Sacrifice

Recommended Videos

Let’s talk about the endings that you can obtain in Salt and Sacrifice.

Once you’ve beaten The Undone Sacrifice, you’ll notice that the edges of the arena are still barricaded. You’ll have no choice but to interact with the tree. This will present two options: Climb or Devour. Either of these options will lead to the end credits.

Climb Ending

Your character will climb the tree and automatically get shackled. You are, essentially, the newest sacrifice. The camera pans upward to show the silhouette of shadowy beings (probably mages) looking on.

Devour Ending

Your character will suck the life out of the tree. In the distance, you’ll see the town of Pardoner’s Vale annihilated by meteors.

All right, let’s discuss the New Game+ mode in the next part of our Salt and Sacrifice guide.
