Saints Row: The Third DLC packs detailed

This article is over 13 years old and may contain outdated information

Saints Row: The Third isn’t even out yet, but that can’t stop the DLC train rolling on. THQ has announced four (count ’em) pieces of DLC that’ll be coming your way after release, and if you like you can pay for them all up front (in return for a discount).
At the rate ‘Season Passes’ are being slapped together, and with ‘pre-order’ madness unlikely to end anytime soon, players will soon be prematurely shelling out $75 USD upfront for things they don’t even get to play for a while. Publishers, it seems, will do anything to get your money in advance.
So, what’s on offer with Saints Row: The Third? Well, three mission packs and one outfit/vehicles pack. The missions are described as follows:
· Genkibowl VII (Scheduled to be available January 2012)
The Wide World of Genki takes over Steelport for a sporting tradition totally and utterly unlike any other.

· Gangstas in Space (Scheduled to be available Winter 2012)
The Saints go intergalactic in this science-fiction misadventure.

· The Trouble With Clones (Scheduled to be available Spring 2012)
Copy-cat killing at its finest.
Fair enough; and maybe they’ll be working on these post-release so they couldn’t be included in the main game. Hey, it’s possible.
However, there’s absolutely no excuse for the ‘Nyte Blayde’ pack (which is just a couple of outfits and vehicles, as shown below) not to be included with the main release. No excuse, that is, aside from THQ loving your cash.
The season pass for these four will cost you $20 USD. That’s apparently a saving of 15% when compared to how much they’ll cost to buy individually. But remember, if you buy into this publishers are going to keep doing it.
