Pokemon Scarlet Violet Rotom Phone Legends Arceus

How to customize the Rotom Phone case in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Become the trendiest Pokémon master.

Like other recent Pokémon games, Scarlet and Violet let players spice up their playthrough with a variety of customization options. The different clothing and facial features you can equip on your trainer make for the most immediately apparent of these options, but Scarlet and Violet also allow you to choose different cases for your Rotom Phone. A feature that previously appeared in Pokémon Sword and Shield, the Rotom Phone provides players with several convenient apps to use, including one that displays their Pokédex. And now with the addition of the Rotom Phone case customization in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, players can also use the device as a way to express themselves.

If you want to change your Rotom Phone case, you simply have to open the customization menu by pressing left on the D-pad and scroll to the right with the left analog stick. You will eventually come across a Rotom Phone photo that will bring up a list of cases to choose from when highlighted. From there, simply pick and save your selection to switch out your case.

How do you get more cases?

Those looking to purchase more Rotom Phone cases can do so at a Delibird Presents shop, of which there are several located in Mesagoza alone. Additionally, players can obtain four special phone cases if their Switch contains save data corresponding to other Pokémon games on the system, namely Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu or EeveePokémon Sword or Shield, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl, and Pokémon Legends Arceus. If you have any of these saves, you can talk to the woman standing near the bottom of the stairs that connect to Mesagoza’s central plaza to acquire their respective cases.

With the variety of Rotom Phone cases on offer, you arguably have more control over the appearance of your phone in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet than you have over your main character. But at least the addition of the phone cases is a nifty one.
