If you loved RollerCoaster Tycoon then take a look at this reboot of the franchise.

Atari are back with RollerCoaster Tycoon World, a reboot of the RollerCoaster Tycoon franchise that has proved so popular over the years. The game is due for release some time in early 2015 and comes with an innovative track builder, more rides than the previous titles, an all-new cooperative multiplayer mode and the classic single player mode.

The RollerCoaster Tycoon franchise has captured the heart of gaming enthusiasts globally for close to 15 years, and we’re eager to provide the next installment of the phenomenal series to new and life-long fans,” said Fred Chesnais, Chief Executive Officer, Atari. “Many of the new features in RollerCoaster Tycoon World were not possible a few years ago, but we have taken advantage of technological improvements to offer a wildly fun gaming experience that stays true to the storied franchise. This is the game fans have been asking for.”

In this new version there’s definitely an emphasis on multiplayer features with players being able to visit parks created by the community, the ability to share blueprints, and park creation for up to four players in a co-op mode.

The last real RollerCoaster Tycoon was released back in 2004 so let’s hope that a decade on this new game will live up to the name.
