Psyonix, the developer of the popular multiplayer racing/soccer game Rocket League, announced the end of season one and the subsequent start of season two.
Psyonix announced the start of the season via Twitter:
HEADS UP: We will be begin taking down servers today at roughly 5PM EST to begin the roll-out of patch v1.11 and the beginning of Season 2!

In addition, patch v1.11 has been put out on PC today. You can read the full patch notes here.
The new season will have new titles, divisions, and more. After ten matches, you will be placed in one of three divisions based on skill level. While mostly based on the performance in the ten preliminary matches, your placement will be influenced slightly by your performance in season one.
