One of Roblox‘s most popular experiences, Blox Fruits, has just come out with a recent update and gamers are already grinding to collect all of the new weapons, equipment and cosmetics that have been released into the game.

Blox Fruits has been soaring to ridiculously high popularity statistics recently. With more concurrent players than even CS2 is reporting at the moment, the RPG experience is certainly a powerhouse. Players can collect different items, such as weapons and a variety of Fruits as they work to collect loot, take down enemies and climb the leaderboards of this game. Work together with others or take on Raids and bosses alone as you explore the rich world filled with excitement and adventure. In this guide we will cover how you can go about getting the Leviathan Shield in Roblox Blox Fruits, a new item releasing with the game’s latest content update.
How do you obtain the Leviathan Shield?
The Leviathan Shield, as seen above, is a Mythical accessory which provides a ton of different buffs towards your character. Specifically, you will receive a 15% increase in your defense against sword, gun and melee attacks, a 30% increase in defense versus Sea Events, a 90% increase in player protection from sea damage and 1250 more health.
The Leviathan Shield can be collected in Blox Fruits by gathering a certain number of different materials within the game. Namely, you will need to obtain 1 Mirror Fractal, 30 Leviathan Scale, 10 Electric Wings and 20 Fool’s Gold in order to craft this Mythical accessory. You’ll receive the Mirror Fractal by taking down the Dough King, who has a 100% chance of dropping it. The Leviathan Scales are more difficult to get and can be earned through defeating the Leviathan Raid Boss. The Electric Wing is dropped by the Piranha, and can be used for the Leviathan Crown, Monster Magnet and Beast Hunter as well. Fool’s Gold can be found through either the Ghost Ship Raid or by finding it randomly inside of a chest, although this is quite rare.
What are some of the drawbacks to using the Leviathan Shield?
As with any weapon in Blox Fruits, there are certain reasons why players may be dissuaded from attempting to get the Leviathan Shield for themselves. Firstly, there isn’t a defense buff provided to your character when using the item against Blox fruit users, which leaves your defenses open compared with other accessories which protect against Blox fruit users. Additionally, the Leviathan Shield can be difficult to obtain for more novice players, specifically due to the variety of resources that are needed to get it. Lastly, since there is no speed support granted from this item, it hinders your speed with it considerably – and in a game where the difference between life and death can be a split second, being quick on your feet is crucial.
