Risen Release Date Announced

The new RPG from the makers of Gothic, Risen, has had its release date announced as the 2 October.

The game, set in medieval times on a volcanic Mediterranean island, unfolds over four chapters and is said to contain an innovative and intuitive user control system, aimed at both casual and hardcore players.

“The release date for Risen enables us to introduce the game to the market in the best possible condition,” says Daniel Oberlerchner, Brand Manager at Deep Silver. “We have been in the Beta phase here for several weeks, and now our focus lies on eliminating the remaining bugs.”
