The Rise of the Triad remake still doesn’t have a release date outside of “Summer 2013,” but the latest details issued about the game confirm that it’ll be coming to Steam, GoG.com and Green Man Gaming when it’s finished.

As well as that, you can check whether it’ll run on your PC thanks to these system specs:

Minimum:
OS:Windows XP 32-bit
Processor:2.4 GHz Dual Core Processor or Better
Memory:2 GB RAM
Graphics:ATI Radeon HD 3870 / NVIDIA 8800 GT
DirectX®:9.0
Hard Drive:5 GB HD space
Sound:DirectX Compatible

Recommended:
OS:Windows 7 64-bit
Processor:2.4 GHz Quad Core Processor or Better
Memory:4 GB RAM
Graphics:AMD Radeon HD 6950 / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560
DirectX®:9.0
Hard Drive:5 GB HD space
Sound:DirectX Compatible

That’s a little bit more demanding than the original requirements from 1995, which were as follows:

386DX/40 Computer (486DX2/66 strongly recommended)
4 meg of free memory (An 8 meg machine is strongly recommended)
Local Bus Video strongly recommended
16550 Serial Port strongly recommended for modem play
8.5 meg of Hard Drive Space (for shareware)
20.0 meg of Hard Drive Space (for registered)
