Reto-Moto reveals their first person FPS/strategy browser based online title.
Reformed Reto-Moto is the team behind the original Hitman series prior to IO Interactive being snapped up by Eidos. Having reformed the old studio, the team has been working on Heroes and Generals, a browser based WWII FPS strategy hybrid. The game is a persistent online war where players take on the role of the soldiers and commanders bringing a blend of strategy and action.
Players will advance in rank and take part in both infantry and vehicle combat as either Axis or Allies as they battle for European domination. Battlefields are said to include cities, factories, airfields and war torn country-sides which also come with a strategic map and key locations.
The game is currently in Alpha testing and Reto-Moto are now inviting players to sign-up for the Alpha test via the new website.
Heroes and Generals will uitlise Reto-Moto’s proprietary engine and we think you’ll agree that for a browser based title this is looking pretty impressive. Check out the shots and trailers below.
